FORScan lists the ELS27 among its supported adapters. Unlike a "modified" ELM327 there is no switch to flip: the software changes bus by itself.
It is the convenient choice if you plan to configure modules (lights, chimes, settings) on a Ford or Mazda from a laptop.
Before you program
Always back up the module settings from the software first and keep the car battery charged: a disconnection halfway through a write can leave a module badly configured.
