Why this adapter

A branded Bluetooth adapter: Konnwei states the five OBD2 protocols it supports and the adapter switches itself off after 30 minutes idle.

It works with apps such as Torque on Android and with Windows programs: engine fault codes, the warning light, and live data in charts (RPM, speed, temperature, fuel system).

iPhone users

It is classic Bluetooth: not a reliable choice for an iPhone or iPad. For iPhone, get a Wi-Fi adapter instead.
