What does YTX7L-BS mean?
- Y: Yuasa, which created this naming system. Other manufacturers change only this letter (GS uses GTX, Exide uses ETX and BS Battery uses BTX), keeping the rest the same.
- TX: the maintenance-free AGM series.
- 7: a size and power index, not the amp-hours: the YTX7L-BS has a capacity of 6 Ah at the 10-hour rate.
- L: reversed polarity, with the positive terminal on the right when you face the label.
- -BS: the original battery is supplied dry with an acid bottle (bottle supplied), so it must be filled before fitting.
