What does YTX5L-BS mean?

Y: the letter with which the reference begins in the naming system used throughout the industry; some manufacturers use another letter and keep the rest unchanged.
TX: the maintenance-free AGM series.
5: a size and power index, not the amp-hour rating: the YTX5L-BS has a capacity of 4 Ah at the 10-hour rate.
L: reversed polarity, with the positive terminal on the right when the label is facing you.
-BS: the original battery part number is supplied dry with an acid bottle (bottle supplied), so it must be filled before fitting.
