What does YTX20-BS mean?
- Y: the letter that begins the naming system used across the industry; some manufacturers use a different letter and keep the rest of the code the same.
- TX: the maintenance-free AGM series.
- 20: a size and power index, not the amp-hours. The YTX20-BS has a capacity of 18 Ah at the 10-hour rate.
- -BS: the original battery is supplied dry with an acid bottle (bottle supplied), so it must be filled before fitting.
