A genuine 140 W: why PD 3.1 matters
Here's the detail most listings skip right over. Delivering 140 W is only possible with the USB-C Power Delivery 3.1 standard, which pushes the voltage ceiling up to 28 V. An adapter built on the older PD 3.0 standard tops out at 100 W maximum (20 V x 5 A) — no matter what the box claims.
This adapter is PD 3.1, so it delivers a true 140 W and unlocks fast charging on the MacBook Pro 16" — the mode that takes the battery from zero to 50 % in around half an hour.

Just like Apple's own adapter, this one does not include a cable. You'll need:
- A USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable if your MacBook has the flat magnetic connector (Pro 14" and 16" from 2021, Air from the M2 onwards). We carry them in four colours.
- Or a USB-C to USB-C cable if you prefer to charge via the USB-C port. Note: to run at the full 140 W the cable must be rated for 5 A and EPR.
