Specifications and operation:

To use the tester, insert the 9 V battery into the back of the device. When switched on, all LED lights activate together with a buzzer that confirms the self-test has passed. The SELECT button allows you to choose the type of brake fluid to test (DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1), indicated by LED lights.

By immersing the probe in the fluid, the LED lights change colour to indicate the moisture level:

• Green light: water content below 1%.
• First yellow light: approximately 1.5% water.
• Second yellow light: approximately 2.5% water.
• First red light: approximately 3% water.
• Second red light: more than 4% water.

It is recommended to clean the probe after each use to avoid interference in future measurements. For long-term storage, remove the battery and keep the tester in a dry place at room temperature.
