XGecu T76 6 Universal USB 3.0 Type-C Programmer with 48-Pin ZIF Socket

The XGecu T76 is a universal programmer of a new generation designed for technicians, labs and advanced hobbyists who need to work with a wide range of memories and logic circuits. It combines a 32-bit RISC-V MCU with FPGA and USB 3.0 Type-C connectivity, ensuring high speed, stability and a compact format.

48-pin ZIF socket with 76 internal IO lines

It incorporates a high-quality 48-pin ZIF socket, easy to use even with frequent insertions. Internally it has 76 input/output lines (48 full-drive lines plus 28 dedicated lines), capable of operating at high speed, voltage and current, which allows versatile adapters to be used and complex packages to be supported with fewer accessories.

Wide compatibility with more than 33,000 ICs

The XGecu T76 is compatible with a wide range of chips used in consumer and industrial electronics, including:

  • Parallel ROM, EPROM and EEPROM.
  • Serial EEPROM families 24, 25, 35, 45, 85, 93 and 95.
  • NAND Flash and SPI-NAND memories, as well as SD-NAND and SD cards.
  • EMMC and EMCP memories for mobile and embedded devices.
  • Various series of microcontrollers (depending on software support).
  • Programmable logic devices GAL and CPLD.
  • SRAM memories and 54/74/HC/LS/CMOS logic circuit testing.

Support is continuously updated to expand compatibility and improve the user experience.

Improved read and write speeds

Adapters compatible with the T76 feature impedance matching and shielding design, reducing interference and improving stability. Speeds of up to 18 MB/s are achieved in SPI-NAND memories and around 30 MB/s in high-capacity PNAND memories, significantly reducing programming and verification time.

Configurable voltages and advanced protection

  • VCC: adjustable between 1,2 V and 6,5 V (64 levels).
  • VPP: adjustable between 6,5 V and 25 V (64 levels).
  • IO signals: configurable between 1,2 V and 3,6 V (64 levels).

It includes overcurrent protection, overvoltage control, reverse connection protection and low-voltage warning to protect both the chips and the programmer.

Power consumption, supply and connectivity

It is powered from the computer's USB 5 V port via a USB 3.0 Type-C connector, also compatible with USB 2.0. Typical consumption is less than 1 A and at idle it is around 150 mA, so an external power supply is usually not required. For setups with several programmers in parallel, external power can be used as recommended.

Compact and robust design

  • Approximate dimensions: 12 × 7 × 2,8 cm.
  • High-density two-tone housing with ventilation grilles.
  • Six 2 mm gold-plated ground contacts for better signal integrity.
  • Internal board with 30 % more components than the T56 model.

Its compact size makes it easy to carry and integrate into workbenches or technical service cases.

Recommended applications

  • Repair workshops for computers, laptops, motherboards, routers, TVs and consoles.
  • Technical services working with BIOS, NAND, EMMC and serial/parallel memories.
  • R&D and prototyping labs for programming microcontrollers and logic devices.
  • Advanced technical training in schools and universities.

Thanks to its high performance, broad compatibility and advanced protection, the XGecu T76 is an essential tool for any modern electronics repair or development environment.

  • 48-pin ZIF socket with 76 internal IO lines for high speed and stability.
  • Compatible with more than 33,000 ICs: SPI, NAND, Flash, EMMC, TSOP48, TSOP56, BGA48, BGA63, BGA64, BGA153 and BGA169.
  • USB 3.0 Type-C connection for fast, stable transfer.
  • Adjustable voltages: VCC (1,2-6,5 V), VPP (6,5-25 V), IO (1,2-3,6 V) with advanced protection.
  • Speeds of up to 18 MB/s on SPI-NAND and 30 MB/s on PNAND for efficient programming.
  • Compact design (12x7x2,8 cm) with a durable housing and gold-plated ground contacts.
  • Ideal for technicians, labs, service centres and advanced training.

Customer Questions & Answers

What are the dimensions, weight and main materials of the XGecu T56, and what is included in the box?

The XGecu T56 measures approximately 148 mm x 100 mm x 28 mm and weighs around 340 g. It is built from durable ABS plastic and the box includes the programmer, USB cable, external power supply (12 V, 2 A), basic adapters and an English manual. Some accessories for specific packages may be sold separately.

What system requirements and connections does the XGecu T56 need to work properly?

It requires a PC running Windows 7/8/10/11 (32 or 64-bit), a USB 2.0 port or above, and a stable 12 V power supply (2 A). The included software must be installed before connecting the programmer; it is not officially compatible with MacOS or Linux.

Is there a risk of damaging components during programming, and what safety features does the T56 offer?

The T56 includes electronic protection against overcurrent, short circuits and intelligent detection of incorrect IC insertion. However, it is advisable to check the programming voltage and socket configuration before each use to avoid accidental damage. It complies with CE and RoHS standards.

What limitations does the XGecu T56 have in terms of programming speed, and does it support firmware updates?

The T56 is significantly faster than earlier versions and lower-end models: it can reach up to 25 MB/s in read/write in supported modes. However, actual speed depends on the IC type and memory size. Firmware can be updated via the official software for future compatibility.

What types of chips is the XGecu T76 compatible with?

The XGecu T76 is compatible with more than 33,000 ICs, including SPI, NAND, Flash, EMMC, microcontrollers, GAL, CPLD and more memories.

What programming speed does the XGecu T76 offer?

It offers speeds of up to 18 MB/s on SPI-NAND memories and around 30 MB/s on high-capacity PNAND memories.

Does it need an external power supply?

It is normally powered by the computer's USB 5 V port and does not require an external power supply, except in setups with several programmers in parallel.

What electrical protections does it include?

It includes overcurrent protection, overvoltage control, reverse connection protection and low-voltage warning.

What is the size of the device?

Its approximate dimensions are 12 x 7 x 2,8 cm, with a compact and robust design.
